    Change your Wii settings.

    Things you can change:
    • Screen resolution
    • Aspect ratio
    • Sensor bar position
    • Sound mode
    • Wii remote rumble
    • Screen burn-in reduction
    • Shutdown mode
    • Wii remote sensitivity
    • Wii Connect 24
    • Internet Settings (boot directly into them)
    CHANGELOG
    v1.8
    • Added more USB Gecko output code and fixed grlib output not being shown.
    • A fair amount of code cleanup (it's still messy though, lol) and a couple of safety checks (thanks megazig).
    • Decreased size by about 19%.
    • Missing options are no longer hidden. Instead, clicking on them gives the option to load the Wii Settings to set them for the first time.
    • Menus are now fixed width so changing a setting won't resize it.
    • "Loading Wii Settings" and "Returning to System Menu" won't both be displayed if Priiloader is set to autoboot/return to something beside the System Menu.
    • "Loading Wii Settings" comes after the save prompt.
    • Improved exit process.
    • Improved neek detection so it will still be detected if crediar changes the Sneek directory (thanks tueidj).
    • Changed the selection color (themeless) from gray to red.
    • When loading the Wii Settings, you will only be prompted to save if you have made a change to your settings.
    • Compatible-ish with Dolphin (requires recompile with "#define DOLPHIN" uncommented). You still can't load Wii Settings, but there is nothing I can do about that.
    • Now the theme is loaded before the background fades in, so it will fade in any custom background your theme uses.

    Offline Network Enabler 0.1

    by suloku

When you set up a network connection trough the wii's system menu, if there's no internet access the connection can't be used, so if you don't have internet access from your wii you can't use networking features of applications like WiiMC, ftpii, wiiload...

So this application, based on the code of fstoolbox for nand access will allow you to enable and set one of the 3 connections as default, meaning you can use networking without internet access.
Warning: this application writes to the nand, it has been tested on my wii without problems, it -should- be as trustable as fstoolbox is.

    GCMM 1.4

    by suloku

    A GameCube Memory Card manager.

GameCube/Wii Memory Manager is an application to backup Nintendo GameCube savegames.
Gcmm is a project started by dsbomb and justb, which is based on Askot's modification to add SD support to the mcbackup libogc example.

I (suloku) have updated the code to newest libraries to port it to the Wii system, and what I find more important: restoring savegames now works properly.

    [What's New 1.4 - october 08, 2012 - By suloku]
    • Animated icon alongside several (minor) graphical improvements
    • Ability to select SD Gecko slot in GameCube mode (just like Wii mode SD/USB prompt)
    • Moved "Backup All" to Backup Mode (press R/1 when in Backup Mode)
    • Added an analog "Restore All" in Restore Mode (overwriting is supported)
    • Shows filename when prompted to overwrite (also in "Restore All")
    • Savegame permisions are shown in a more explicit and user friendly way
    • Shows memory card freeblocks
    • Page number display in file selector
    • Left and right now scroll 5 file entries at once
    • Scrolling of file entries can be done holding the button (up/down/left/right)
    • Added security checks to Raw Restore Mode
    • Added some special characters to the font (needed for savegame comments)
    • Minor code tweaks

    Wii Chatter v0.1

    by ThatOtherPerson

    ThatOtherPerson's Notes
    =======================

Wii Chatter is a chat room program. You post text and people can read it.
The onscreen keyboard can’t yet switch between uppercase and lowercase yet so it’s going to seem like everyone is screaming for a little while. Fixing that is pretty high up on my to do list. If it really bothers anyone I can make changes on the server side to make everything lowercase well you wait for the next version. Do you think a QWERTY layout would be better? I’d like to also add support for USB keyboards.
Hopefully it will get into the homebrew browser sometime soon. It’s been over a month since the last batch of games/updates were added. I’m thinking about making a homebrew browser alternative and/or making my games self updating. It seems like there is still a reasonable (though certainly declining) number of people playing Wii homebrew but only a small minority of people visit dev sites like this or even general homebrew news sites to get the latest versions of brew.
I’m probably going to replace the home menu / dashboard UI I use in all my stuff with not blue versions of the UI elements I made for this. Because of reasons. Any objections?

    Two Point Five v1.2

    by ThatOtherPerson

    Creator's Notes
    ===============
I was going to try and work in some kind of basic gameplay and make it into something that I could pretend was a game but its frustrating me right now and I don’t really feel like working on it anymore. Lets just call it a tech demo. Its polygon free and technically totally 2d but it fakes a 3d first person view the same way that old school “3d” games like Wolfenstein 3D, Rise of the Triad and Doom did though its not even as complex as them (it has no textures). the environment is randomly generated and uses the same setup I made for Maze Generator only with a different width and height and some extra random walls removed to make the map less linear.

You use the nunchuck analog stick to move and the wiimote ir sensor to aim. You turn based on where on screen you aim but turning is deactivated well you hold down the A button.

I added in multiple screens for options in the home menu because it seemed like it was starting to get overly crowded after adding the PNG screenshot option. Just hit Plus or Minus or click on the left and right on screen buttons to switch menus. It slides nice and smoothly back and forth from menu to menu.

    ThreePointO v1.3

    by ThatOtherPerson

Here is something of a successor to that Two Point Five tech demo thing I did. This doesn’t fake it though and is legitimately 3D this time. Unfortunately its even more heavily distorted and things get really weird if you look up or down at too much of an angle and I’ve been failing miserably to correct the problem. I also had to seriously drop the resolution to get the frame rate going well. I dont remember for sure but I think I settled on making it effectively 160×120 but whatever it is the point is that at the usual 640×480 Wii resolution its way to slow for real time gameplay. I dont think its too pixelated to be playable at its current resolution though so I’m not really too bummed out about the sacrifice.

Anyways its somewhat functional and in the process of making it I reworked a lot of stuff that I can carry back over to improve performance if I return to making a 2.5d game so even if I never fulfill my dreams of making the definitive destructive raytraced voxel based shooter I will at the least have some comparatively nice performance in the event that I get around to settling for making a simple Wolfenstein 3D type game for Wii.

use the wiimote to aim, You turn based on where on screen your aiming, hold the A button to stop turning, Use the nunchuck analog stick to move and and use the C and Z buttons to move vertically.

That’s all for now. Just remember voxels > polygons.

    Wii Exhibit v0.1

    by ThatOtherPerson
Wii Exhibit is an online image editor for Wii. Everyone shares the same canvas so everyone can see what you’re drawing.

    ThatOtherPerson's Notes
Press the B button to draw in black or the A button to draw in white. You can draw a straight line by holding down the button and releasing it where you want the line to end. You can refresh the image without drawing on it by pressing the 1 or 2 button.

I’ll readily admit that it actually really sucks right now but I’ll be updating it and I have high hopes for it. Excluding browser based stuff this is the first piece of software I’ve ever made that connects to the internet so I’m pretty psyched that it works at all. You can expect to see online multiplayer and scoreboards in a lot of my future Wii homebrew releases.

Online interactions obviously not rated by the ESRB. Don’t be too surprised if someone draws a dick or something. It’s an inevitability (assuming that people actually use this) and I have zero interest in trying to moderate what people draw.

They Do Not Die 2 v0.8

    by ThatOtherPerson
A zombie survival game. Kill all the circle zombies.

    ThatOtherPerson's Notes
Here is a small update for They Do Not Die 2 along with its first Windows release.

I’ve added blood and corpses. On Wii and PS3 they quickly shrink until they disappear but on Windows they fade instead of shrink (which I think looks a lot better) and there can be more of them in the game world at a time which means that they disappear more slowly.

I’ve also made a handful of minor and most likely unnoticeable changes (mostly related to city generation).

    Hero City 2 v1.2

    by ThatOtherPerson
In Hero City you play as a superhero and fly around fighting monsters.

    ThatOtherPerson's Notes
Here is an update and port for Hero City 2. Along with finally being available for Windows the game now features an improved french translation (courtesy of Skyost), some slight font edits and on Wii the Wiimote will now rumble when the player is being hurt.
