SwitchMii - switch2sneek mod

This is a simple application for switching between real NAND and SD/USB NAND (through SNEEK).

This is a beta release so there are RISKS you could make your Wii unoperable (i.e. bricked). Do not use this application if you cannot take such a risk.

This app works with bootmii as boot2, and bootmii as IOS (but then I don't really see the point)

Bathaxx (New Exploit)

Bathaxx is a safe way to enable homebrew on a Wii without hardware modification. Bathaxx is achieved by playing a hacked game save for LEGO Batman which executes a homebrew application from an external SD card. Examples of such homebrew .elf or .dol files can be found on the Homebrew applications page. The bathaxx was created by Team Twiizers & lewurm.

Prerequisites:
==============
◦SD card (not SHDC) formatted as FAT16 or FAT32
◦Some possibility to copy the savegame (DOWNLOAD) from the PC to the SD card (i.e. card reader)
◦LEGO Batman ;-) (you have to boot it at least once before)
◦Some homebrew software to load, e.g. the HackMii Installer. Although this isn't necessary, it's highly recommended ;-)

Howto:
======
◦(OPTIONAL) If you have an existing "LEGO Batman" savegame. MOVE it to another SD CARD.
◦Copy the "private" directory from the ''Bathaxx'' download to the root of your SD card.
◦Take your homebrew and put it in the ROOT of your SD card as "boot.elf"
◦Put your SD card in your Wii and turn it on.
◦Go into Wii Options -> Data Management -> Save Data -> Wii.
◦Go to SD card and select the "Bathaxx" savegame that corresponds to your game region.
NOTE: Some people are having problems with the Wii not "seeing" the savegame on the SD card. If you are experiencing this, try setting the archive bit for the data.bin file. In Windows this can be either be done from the file's properties dialog (right click on it in Windows Explorer and check the box) or from the command line using "attrib +a ". More info at #wiihelp on Efnet.
◦Copy the savegame to the Wii.
◦Boot LEGO Batman.
◦Load the saved game you just copied to the Wii.
◦You are now in the batcave, take the elevator on the right side. Then in the trophy room, go to the upper corner and go through the door in order to enter the "Wayne Manor". Now you can select a character. Choose the last enabled one in the lowest row.

Corsix-TH Beta

For those who haven't heard of it: Corsix-TH is an open source reimplementation of Theme Hospital, using Lua and SDL. It requires the assets from the original game (the demo version is included in the above package) and isn't quite complete, there's a few diseases and scenarios missing. It's definitely playable, although this build has audio disabled until the author can free up about 20MB of memory somewhere.

Just dump the files onto your SD card as is (the CorsixTH dir must be in the root).

DAID's NOTES
============
I know the name is very silly, and I should name it something like "gb4wii" or something.

But it's my gameboy emulator. Which has as main highlights:
-Supports Gameboy, Gameboy color and SuperGameboy games.
-Runs up to 4 gameboys side by side!
-Gameboy 1 and 2 are linked with a link cable, so are gameboy 3 and 4.
-This linking works for pokemon trading!

The UI is a bit tricky right now, the Wiimote that clicks on the "load ROM" button is the one associated with that ROM. So if you want to play pokemon red, and pokemon blue at the same time, linked. Then do the following:
-Have wiimote 1 click "load ROM" and select pokemon red.
-Have wiimote 2 click "load ROM" and select pokemon blue.
-Click on "run emulation" with any of the wiimotes.

Just a huge list of 'problems':
-Zelda: Link's awakening seems to be dog slow.
-Speed for other games is to high.
-Supergameboy support isn't perfect, but works ok for pokemon.
-Kirby's dreamland 2 doesn't do anything.
-Sound sometimes has a high pitch in it which should be there.
-Graphics in zelda intro and ninja gaiden shadow (AKA Shadow Warrior, AKA Ninja Ryuukenden) are messed up at a few places.
-No scaling options.
-No button config options.
-No other controller support then wiimote.
-Saves to the same location as the ROM is loaded from.

It isn't finished yet, but posting it here to catch the early bugs and get a few tips about what I should add.

3. When you now press A, every previous subscriptions to RSS-Feeds will be overwritten by subscriptions to the Feeds listed in the "feeds.xml".
4. Everything's finished - You should now be receiving updates at those RSS-Feeds at the Wii-Messageboard!

Newo Shooter is a rail shooter in a third-person and first-person 3D perspective. The player must navigate his spacecraft, through environments while various enemies (spaceships, robots, creatures, etc.) attack him. Enemies drop various power-ups (free lives, 50% health, weapon upgrades, shields) to help the player. The player receives a score on each level based on how many enemies destroyed. At the end of each level there is a boss that the player must defeat before progressing to the next level.

BennuGD Wii Beta 3

Bennu is a high level open source game development suite which focuses on modularity and portability, making it a perfect choice for cross-platform game development.

* Proper support for the Wii Balance Board (see here for a usage example). Thanks to the guys from devkitpro for fixing this in the latest libogc 1.8.6
* Default sound frequency has been changed from 32KHz to 48KHz. Had to do it because newer versions of VLC refused to resample the audio to 32KHz. Also many popular audio programs seem to handle 48KHz sound much better than 32KHz ones. Please note that as OGG Vorbis sound playback was failing, you are now encouraged to use MP3 and module music formats instead.
* Updates from upstream Bennu. I've re-sync'ed many things from upstream BennuGD. Please note that this build corresponds to revision 146 from SVN, and not the current one (190). The changes between this versions derive from the SDL 1.3 support I added to trunk to gain iOS compatibility and I most probably broke something so latest code is not working as expected. I'll fix this soon.
* Bennu can now open websites if the user has installed the (free) Internet channel.
* Some other misc bugfixing.

Schism Tracker - 2011/01/01

Schism Tracker is an editor and player for tracked music (IT, XM, S3M, MOD, etc.), heavily based on the look and feel of the DOS program Impulse Tracker.

Schism Tracker is a free reimplementation of Impulse Tracker, a program used to create high quality music without the requirements of specialized, expensive equipment, and with a unique "finger feel" that is difficult to replicate in-part. The player is based on a highly modified version of the Modplug engine, with a number of bugfixes and changes to improve IT playback.

- Happy New Year! This is mostly for Windows users, as there was a huge
file-corruption problem which I hadn't noticed, plus a couple other small
changes. Aside from that, nothing major since last month.

Windows-related:
- Fixed a MASSIVE problem with file saving code that destroyed any files it
wrote! (because of the stupid distinction between binary and text files,
argh!!)
- Fixed another tangentially related bug which stuffed increasing numbers of
newlines in the config file when saving. As a side effect the config file
will appear trashed in Notepad; just use something more competent (such as
Wordpad) and it'll be fine.
- Default directory if you haven't saved your config is now "My Documents"
rather than "Application Data". The config file / fonts / etc. are still
in the same place.
- Packages are now bundled with a different sdl.dll, which should fix some
strange bugs, such as producing "ding" noises when alt-keys are pressed

Miscellaneous:
- The --diskwrite flag wasn't mentioned anywhere in the manpage. Now it is!
- Fixed "stacking up" on Ctrl-F2 dialog with multiple keypresses

You can add as many feed-nodes as you want. The "name"-Attribute will be displayed on top of the message at the Wii-Messageboard, so it is recommended to cut that REALLY SHORT because there's hardly any space.
Launching rssmii¶

1. Launch rssmii in the Homebrew-Channel or any other launcher of your choice (I thought of custom channels, so launching this won't result in a CodeDump-Error on exit!)
2. You see the RSS-Feeds listed in the "feeds.xml"
3. When you now press A, every previous subscriptions to RSS-Feeds will be overwritten by subscriptions to the Feeds listed in the "feeds.xml".
4. Everything's finished - You should now be receiving updates at those RSS-Feeds at the Wii-Messageboard!

This RSSMii 1.1 is released. It fixes Issue 1 (the error with mxml & format in the URL) with CDATA tags. But although he had to change the syntax of the feeds.xml, RSSMii must therefore be set up again (using the HowTo Wiki page). Of course, this is not a must, your current subscription still continue to work (though I can not say exactly how long, so a change is recommended). So just make the update feeds.xml new / to match the new syntax and RSSMii run. Have fun!

Newo Shooter 1.0

Newo Shooter is a rail shooter in a third-person and first-person 3D perspective. The player must navigate his spacecraft, through environments while various enemies (spaceships, robots, creatures, etc.) attack him. Enemies drop various power-ups (free lives, 50% health, weapon upgrades, shields) to help the player. The player receives a score on each level based on how many enemies destroyed. At the end of each level there is a boss that the player must defeat before progressing to the next level.

Beer Belly Bill 3: Grillieren 1.0

Collect meat and vegetables. Put the meat on the grill, and the veggies in the waste bin. Putting veggies on the grill is a bad idea, they'll explode and remove one piece of meat. Drago comes by occasionally, searching the waste bin first, if he finds nothing in it, he walks to the grill to grab a piece of meat. The game ends when there's nothing on the grill anymore.
